History
Rowan has spent most of his life underground in
I'Calith, the drow capital. But as a teen, he saw an expedition to the surface, a group of brave drow who wished to leave the island to live a life of freedom outside. Rowan sneaked in with them, hoping to see what was outside of his home city.
But the group got lost on the surface, far from the ash providing an eternal night, the drows were uncomfortable and faced the local fauna. Rowan got burnt during this encounter and fled with many others back to I'Calith. Ever since Rowan is scared of the sunlight, as he believes it brings forth monsters of untold might.
Stuck by fear in his hometown, he decided to leave the confinement of the city through books and took pride in studying linguistics, becoming a student of
Luceria Emberstorm. In his studies, he found faith in Kiennavalyriss, the goddess of wisdomand knowledge, whom he believe guide him through his life.
