Oakhurst
The village of Oakhurst is on the edge of the Stormcrest Mountains, on the Lightfoot Land side of the mountain.
Geography
The village is next to the Stormcrest Mountains, surrounded mainly by the Ashen Plain with small forests here and there. The village is only a few hours away from the frontier with the Green earth.Description
The main village road, the old road skirts the Ashen plains and leads to the village, then continue through the mountains and into the Traveler's Dream Forest. The village contains the essentials an adventurer may need;- The village hall, the center of government in Oakhurst including the office of the Mayor Vurnor Leng, a male halfling noble.
- Next to the village hall is the jail, a stout building where miscreans serve their sentences. Oakhurst’s constable is Felosial, a female half-elf veteran. She commands a force of sixteen guards and four scouts who keep the village safe.
- The General Store, The village’s main source for supplies and merchandise, owned and operated by Kerowyn Hucrele, a female halfling noble.
- The shrine to Cyrrollalee, advice, information, and healing are among the services dispensed at the village’s shrine. It is maintained by Dem “Corkie” Nackle, a female gnome priest of Cyrrollalee.
- The blacksmith, repairing and forging arms and armor is the job of the village smithy, Rurik Lutgehr, a male rock gnome commoner.
- The Ol’ Boar Inn, Garon, a male halfling commoner, is the owner and barkeep of the Inn. He serves food and drink, and the place has a few rooms that visitors can rent.
