Archfey of the Winter Court

The Queen of ice, also called Pale Queen and princess of frost is a mighty Archfey. She is the mightiest of fey, and lead the Winter court in the Feywild.
The Queen of Ice sought to prevent the White Frost from covering the Feywild and other planes.
Among the fey, the Queen of Ice is shunned by those of the Winter Court, and even hated by few of those faeries, but the older and more powerful of them only pitied her. The fey of winter, and those who wish to recover the old ways, however, unit under her.

Characteristics

Physical features

The Queen of Ice is a slender eladrin with pale, icy purple skin, long purple hair, and white eyes. She continually give off an aura of freezing cold.

Mental traits

The Queen of Ice is bitter and merciless, though not unnecessarily cruel. She ally with other archfey only against dire threats, and prefer to deal with her enemies quickly, viciously, and without regard for collateral damage. She held mortals in complete contempt.

Abilities

The Queen of Ice has many powerful, innate magical abilities, such as being able to freeze mortal creatures and summon blizzards. She is known to speak the languages of elves, dragons, giants, and primordials, as well as the common language. The QUeen of Ice could see even when there was little light.

History

The Queen of Ice was once known as the Sun princess, and her realm was a place of light and summer warmth. However the white frost grew day after day, and soon, the region got colder, covered in snow and ice. The fey of Luna's court wished to leave, to find a new place for their realm, deeper in the feywild, protected from this hazard. But Luna saw it as her duty to protect the feywild from this unstoppable force.
The unstoppable force colided with an unmovable object, the blizzard was slowed by the now called Queen of Ice, but this feat was achieved at the price of the queen's court, many of her follower died, and most of her time was dedicated to her task. The survivor grew bitter and colder, like the weather. Soon the new court, now called the winter court was one of lurker in the dark, and powerful predator.
The Queen of ice, rejected and hated by the fey that had flee her court and created he summer court also turned her back on them, refusing to collaborate except in dire circumstances, believing they couldn't understand her duty.
