Circle of the Tides

Few natural forces exert as much influence over people as the ocean. Those that live on its shores understand both the raw crushing power of tidal waves, and the bountiful harvest that can be found beneath the surface. Druids that belong to the Circle of the Tides monitor the balance between civilization and the seas. They protect ships and settlements from the terrible power of storms, but they do not hesitate to rebuke those who abuse the life-giving waters of the sea.   Those druids often worship or at least pay respect to the spirit of water, the Leviathan.

History

The druidic circle was popularized thanks to the hydromancy and tie to the ocean of the city-state of Boralus in which the rare druids are most of from the circle of the Tide. In Boralus ancient times, when it was little more than a collection of houses on a rock. Its citizens were protected by hydromancers and druids of the circle of the tide, learning their secret from the mermaids.   Similarly, other apparition of similar druidic circle have being noted through history on coastal settlement, mainly in Tana's Empire and in the Lightfoot Kingdom.
