Si'ylblood
The true blood of ancient Si’yla breeds true in unfortunate lines, giving glowing eyes, wings, or other mutations to the few Si’ylblood that have survived the repeated purges. Seen as a living reminder of the arrogance that led to the Ascended War and nearly destroyed the world, Si’ylblood are not welcome in polite society and often find similarly cold welcome among other dregs of society. As such, many Si’ylblood drift toward Orc cities, where anyone with the strength and ambition to succeed is welcome.
Si’ylblood are seen as living avatars of misfortune and plague. Few would allow a Si’ylblood to sleep in their home or share a meal for fear of catching whatever evil it is that caused ancient Si’yla to be destroyed.

Basic Information
Biological Traits
Si'ylblood manifest mutations beyond the norm. Many exhibit glowing or strangely colored eyes, the ability to see clearly in the dark, wing and horn-like protrusions, or taloned fingers and toes. Due to the energies within the Si'ylblood, these features can manifest more strongly for brief periods, but the Si'ylblood is often left exhausted by the effort.
Genetics and Reproduction
The exact cause of Si'ylblood showing through is unknown, but it is believed that it is caused by unfortunate circumstances at birth or conception. Whatever the cause, while the strain of Si'ylblood follows family lines, it rarely results in successive generations of Si'ylblood. Si'ylblood can breed with any humanoid, but their fertility is very low.
