Summer
The Tables of the Fae High Council call to those amongst the council who embody an element of that season. Whether it be youth for the Spring table, passion for the summer table, experience for the Autumn table, or pain for the Winter table, a council member cannot refuse the call of their seat anymore than they could refuse the air filling their lungs.
The Mossfather
The Mossfather (he/they) is an archfey on the Fae High Council.Description
The Mossfather appears to be a large man made entirely of plants. Skin like newly grown leaves, long hair like a weeping willow, a full beard of vines and hanging moss, thick bark-like eyebrows. He's never seen without a broad smile and dark gleaming eyes. Their height is known to change -- sometimes they're as tall as an oak tree, other times they're just over the size of your average humanoid. The Mossfather's passion is for nature. He firmly believes in the beauty of the natural world and believes in its preservation and cultivation -- as such, many of his followers are druids and rangers, and his most elite are Oath of Ancients paladins. Despite his jovial and generous demeanor, he takes his conservation efforts very seriously. However, he's also known to love a good party, especially if feywild wine is involved. He's known for being one of the gentler Archfey, but his wrath is swift and crushing if pushed too far.History
The Mossfather has been a constant in the High Council for centuries, and has changed very little since he joined. The most notable change has been the steady increase in the number of his children, whom he cares for immensely.Trivia
- He occasionally spends time as various plants and animals, transforming himself as he pleases so he can better understand them.
- He has approximately one hundred children whom he often speaks fondly of. Most of them are well into adulthood, but he still keeps in touch with all of them as best he can.
