Selene
Goddess of Dreams/Night Selene Mona Kamaria
Selene is the goddess of night in the religion of time and the goddess of dreams in the religion of strings. She takes the form of a Moth Person, more specifically a white satin moth. Selene lives alone in her castle, but she is very frequently visited by her people and visitors from other lands.
Selene is bound by rules and curses the three gods set in their early years. Should any of them be led astray, they would be put in a 'time out'. Selene's time out binds her body and soul to the mortal plane, temporarily disabiling her ability to slip between dreams. Like the other gods, she is placed in a gemstone to watch the world go by without any input from her. If this is manipulated by unauthorized individuals, Selene's ability to slip between dreams is simply minimized, and her conciousness is completely removed from the mortal plane. Her soulless body is left preserved in the gemstone. This minimal existence, while making her obsolete, gives her the ability to latch onto the dreams of a certain person and get help.
Selene usually takes reality with a grain of salt. While she knows it's the base of life for many people, her position as the goddess of dreams makes her regard anything other than imagination as boring or useless. Dreams are important, they can show a lot about a person, but they're not everything.
Divine Domains
While mostly involved with The Land of Night, Selene occasionally participates in the descisions of the other gods.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Selene is often associated with darkness and the moon. She is occasionally associated with light, fluffy clouds, much like a comfy pillow.

Selene is given the Month of the Moon. The first and last days of this month are often celebrated with less working hours and longer sleeping times.
Physical Description
Body Features
Selene has neat, parallel black stripes that wrap around her arms and legs. She has golden, feathery antenne. Her wings are pure white and five times her body size, larger than the wings of most Moth People.
Facial Features
Selene's nose is covered black splotches, and her lips are stained grey from being repeatedly painted black.
Identifying Characteristics
While she can be identified by her large, pure white wings, she is more easily identified by her klutzy behavior, often running into inanimate objects.
Apparel & Accessories
Selene wears a white, backless halterneck top tucked into a white skirt.
Social
Social Aptitude
Selene is quite extroverted, often hopping into the dreams of others to interact with them, even when she is immobilized by old curses and physical restraints. Selene is ditzy, even in serious situations. She's clumsy and usually doesn't take things as seriously as she should be. She doesn't take quite as much pride or faith in her godhood as the other gods do, but her lack of understanding of social norms are excused by everyone around her as 'It's the divinity making her judgement of mortal social interactions superior in ways mortals cannot understand'. That being said, Selene probably only understands things 100% of the time when it concerns the non-social welfare of her people.
Hobbies & Pets
Selene has two African Grey Parrots, both of which are very well-taken care of by many people in The Land of Night, including Selene. They've been imortalized, and they often slip between dreams whenever they please. These birds, named Nova and Cosmo, only really like Selene. They often carry the goddess messages people from other lands have dreamed up or asked the birds to transcribe. Nova and Cosmo have cages filled with plenty of things to keep them entertained and well-fed before they're let out for the day. While they're out, Nova and Cosmo are allowed to fly wherever they want, provided they're back by nightfall. This rule is modified if one of the birds are one a mission. In this case, they are given a time limit and a small bag of food, water, and other necessities. When Selene is put in time out, Nova and Cosmo are taken care of by the other gods or in the dreams of others.
Selene spends most of her time caring for and playing with her birds.
