Chathdö
Chathdö is the only settlement in the Thadal Rainforest. Only Drow can become citizens, and the city is modeled after the original drow city on Drow Lak-ek Neev.
Demographics
No one but drow are allowed to live here.
Government
Like the original progenitors of their kind, the city is run by the major families. Every 20 years or so, the highest family is overthrown and a new one takes over.
Defences
There are no artificial defenses, except for a magical barrier representatives of each house agree to keep intact. Rarely do they let the barrier falter, for that would mean the destruction of their house as well as others.
Industry & Trade
Many of the lower members of the houses lend themselves out as mercenaries to make money for their houses and bring back valuable gems and precious metals. There is always the hope that doing so can raise one's standing in their house.
Infrastructure
Most of the building in Chathdö are giant mansions. The ones belonging to larger houses have been said to be large enough to be cities themselves.
Geography
The city itself is spread out among multiple large clearings in the Thadal Rainforest. Nowhere are the trees thick enough where a drow cannot see through them to another part of the city.
