Noxveil Province

Noxviel Province, last bastion of the north. Noxviel is the northernmost province of the Integran Empire, and wealthy for all that it lacks farmland. The earth is rich in ores and gemstones, the forests ancient and humming with magic, and the wildlife full of rare and valued species. Ruled by Duke Dillon Wintershod, the iron eyed warrior, the province forms a natural barrier against the threats of the Hordes of Eternal Night, the Hobgoblins, and the Fallen Frost, all of which commonly raid southward.

Geography

A mix of tundra, arctic forest, and coast, butted up against the Titan's Ribs Mountain range. The southern edge of this province is more temperate, but by the time you reach the are around Harrowbelle, permafrost has set in.
To the north lies the ice wastes, of the Hordes of Eternal Night, east is the frozen coast of the Sea of Knives, South is the Greenweald Province, and west across the Titan's Ribs is the lands of the Elvenblood Empire

Natural Resources

The southern region provides a portion of the grain and produce Noxveil consumes, but it is far more popular for timber, gemstones, fur, and fish. Trade with the southern regions provides the rest of what is required to sustain the cities, the bulk grains and dried food shipped via trade caravans, then the fresher produce is transported via the highly expensive teleportation network. The exports from the northern regions include gemstones and some ores mined from the mountains and foothills, fur and timber from the forested region, and fish from the coasts.
