Dillon Wintershod does not have a romantic heart. In fact, many would claim he has no heart. The Lord of Harrowbelle does not have time for useless fripperies amidst a sea of seething political vipers, in one of the harshest environs on the material plane. Or so he tells himself. In fact, though the weather and the politics are harsh, Dillon simply has yet to encounter a woman with the cunning necessary to survive his life, and enough morals to fill a teaspoon.
However, over the past few months, Dillon has begun to find himself impressed with the qualities of Lady Saria. She has held herself to high standards, completed tasks with ruthless efficiency, and comes from a lineage that no petty attendant could dispute. Unfortunately, the thought of actually beginning a dialogue towards such ends is far and away overshadowed by the knowledge that he has absolutely no idea how to proceed with the courtship of anyone, let alone a noble as powerful as she.
Lord Dillon consoles himself as he always does when faced with the discomfort of actual emotion, retreating to cold logic and harsh truth. Unfortunately, logic has taken the side of the damnable woman, pointing out exactly how many benefits there would be to even a marriage of convenience. He must consider whether he is willing to step outside his comfort zone to pursue a life outside of his work, and whether he can learn to be more than he is.

Heavy tutoring from his Grandmother's select private tutors, followed by hiring from the local university for keeping up on the newest developments throughout the nation.
