• The Pallinee Izim's consider the current leader of the Orcanist, mayor of Oracanium and former arch-magus of Razdelin, Jacqsel Darwel.

Jacqsel Darwel is an elderly High Elf with high cheekbones and noble features. He has white hair and is around 700 years old... very old, even for an Elf.
He is widowed and does not have any children anymore as his family were members of The Etcher's Guild and so, when Razdelin was split by the cataclysm on the queens inheritance day, his family perished in the split and he never chose to remarry.
He notably took an active role in teaching the Izim twins magic and also advising them when they were young, he is a large reason they were not consumed by trauma and survivors guilt on their inheritance... sources close state that Jacqsel sees the twins as his own surrogate children.
However, when the Oracanium was formed, Jacqsel was offered the opportunity to organise and own it, with full control that made him only answerable to the Izim queens.
Jacqsel has ran the Oracanium ever since whilst still acting as an advisor to the Northern Izim.

Jacqsel's Soul Arm is known as the Darwel Stave, a medium sized spellcasting rod with two ruby's either end of the weapon. It's pole centre portrays glowing runes that describe in detail the ancestry and family line of the Darwel's in an ocean blue against the emerald green of the rod.

Jacqsel studied with the Etcher's Guilds alongside his to-be wife Erica Chanfre, they got married the day after graduation but had been courting for several years previously.

Employment

Jacqsel has an illustrious record of employment showing his magical aptitude from a young age, tempered by his wisdom as he matured.

• He acted as an etcher's guild emissary and researcher with his wife for several years before they chose to remain in Razdelin to build a family. 
• He joined the Mages centre in Queen Pallinee's palace contingent where he climbed to the rank of advisor and tutor of magic. 
• He continued his role with the Izim twins until they assigned him to the rebuilding of The Oracanium and forming the Orcanists.
