Wendyl Bolder
Lady Wendyl Jermin- Bolder
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Wendyl is a tall and athletic woman with long and thick auburn hair and her father's sky-blue eyes. Stunningly beautiful and supremely graceful in her movements and manners.
Mental characteristics
Mental Trauma
Wendyl holds a deep and painful resentment towards her father, Roland Bolder, for forcing her to marry Ward Jermin. She is fully aware of the plain fact that the marriage was solely for the financial security of her father's lands and estate, and that the only thing the Jermin family gained was a marital connection to the Royal House of Bolder. Wendyl is so angry at her father that she has not spoken or communicated with him in any way since the wedding ceremony ten years ago.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
For the last ten years of her life, Wendyl has focused solely on keeping her emotional sanity intact. She is married to a man she utterly detests and would rather die than allow him to ever touch her. To refute the marriage would, however, destroy her father's public image, so she lives in a loveless marriage with no valid hopes of family or happiness in her future.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Wendyl's only friend and comfort is her sister-in-law, Lacey, the wife of her husband's younger brother, Hugh. Through her friendship with Lacey and Hugh, she has managed to have a few meetings with their mutual friend, her cousin Will Bolder. It is Will that has kept her family in Jemptal aware that she is healthy, at least, if not entirely happy.
Family Ties
Wendyl has refused all contact with her father and family in Jemptal, and has only spoken to her cousin, Will Bolder, on a very few occasions since marrying into the Jermin family.
Relationships
History
The marriage of Ward Jermin and Wendyl Bolder was arranged by Hollis Jermin and Wendyl's father, Roland Bolder, in 221 AF. Hollis dismissed the necessity of a dowry to ensure that the unequal status of the two families didn't hold up the engagement. Wendyl had very little say in the arrangement, and grew more and more anxious as the engagement drew closer to the wedding event.
