Wallys am Bimmin
Lord Commander of Guards Wallys am Bimmin
Wallys am Bimmin was the second son of Lord Talmage am Bimmin of the City of Scaram and the Lord Commander of the City Guard of Scaram. Wallys was Lord Commander for 33 years, leaving his post only to fight with the army during the Second Northern War, where he served with honor and distinction from 216 AF until 218 AF. He thought to retire upon his return, but took up his post again at the request of his brother, Lord Talmage.
As the second son of a landed noble lord, Wallys had few prospects for title or position, so he took up arms and found he was exceptionally gifted at command and martial leadership. He quickly rose through the ranks to Lord Captain, and by the age of 28 was named Lord Commander of the five companies of City Guard tasked with the protection and security of Scaram. He made the safety of the city streets a priority and measurably reduced crime within the city walls in a very short time. His Guards are now some of the finest examples of peacekeepers anywhere in the northern Kingdom.
He died of a stroke while still wearing the cloak of the Lord Commander at the age of 66.

Personal history
Wallys lost his oldest son, Oswyn am Bimmin, at the Battle of Smallford Crossing in 215 AF. It was because of this loss that Wallys took up his armor and joined the fight in Colo. He seemed to feel that if he had been with Oswyn, he wouldn't have died.
