Rabia Boyal
Rabia Boyal is a 31-year-old Halfling female that resides in the City of Areshos on the Island of Aresh. She is one of the members of a group of advisors to the Aresh'a Dominus, Carr'a Rone. She is the primary inventor of the Dragon's Breath weapon now being constructed and installed on many of the Dominion's warships. She has a large workshop on a dedicated (and quite distant) section of the river where she can experiment and improve her formulas and mechanisms. She also has a small cottage in the Island of Iblis near the base of the Holymont where she stays during Druidic feasts and holy days.
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Rabia has many facial brands and tattoos as reminders of her years of enslaved captivity in Sellenia. These marks and scars are made with a gold colored metallic substance that would be quite beautiful if it weren't the cause of great daily pain even after many years.
Special abilities
Anywhere else in the civilized world, Rabia would be considered an alchemical genius. Her knowledge of the types and amounts of compounds and chemical components that, when properly combined, can produce incendiary effects of staggering proportions. Some of her peers in the Dominion capital have taken to referring to her as a master "pyromancer".

Personal history
Rabia was born into slavery in the Empire of Sellenia in the mainland Imperial city of Bax. Her owner was a wealthy man of a minor noble family that was exceedingly cruel to his chattel slaves, insisting that he scar and tattoo his property in distinct and often very painful ways. This nobleman was fascinated with fire and fireworks, and when he learned that one of his young slaves had a knack for formulating concoctions that could burn in bright and distinct colors, he forced her to work constantly to create new and unique compounds for him to display to his peers.
Over the course of four years of work, Rabia had a long list of recipes that created compounds and liquids that would burn in specific colors, for varying lengths of time, and at a wide variety of temperatures and rates. Her greatest and most dangerous formula was the thick, viscous liquid that would become known as Dragon's Breath.
Once she realized what she had discovered in her labors, Rabia used her skills and talents to kill her owner and all his family, free all the slaves of the household, and burn the villa to ashes. Rabia then spent more than 90 days walking through the dense and dangerous jungles and swamps of the continental Imperial territories until she found a group of native (non-Sellenian) fisherman that promised to take her to the Aresh Dominion.
Rabia is now a close and trusted counsellor of the Aresh'a Dominus and has free reign to further perfect her deadly and powerful weapon for the defense of the Dominion.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Topping a long list of highly effective formulas for unique and specific flammable compounds, Rabia is the inventor and sole holder of the secret formula for the deadly incendiary liquid known as Dragon's Breath.
Mental Trauma
A long and traumatic childhood of captivity and abuse have deeply effected the Halfling woman, and this trauma is plainly evident in her many obvious and still quite painful brands and tattoos that cover her face and arms.
Social
Family Ties
Sold as a child of only 4 years old away from her mother, Rabia has no knowledge of where her family is anymore. Her only companion is the Halfling youth called Buckle that escaped her former master's villa with her as a very young child. Rabia took the young Halfling with her as she left the burning villa and the two of them made the three-month journey to Aresh together. Rabia is passionately protective of Buckle and will not ever allow anything to happen to him.
Religious Views
Since arriving in the Dominion, Rabia has discovered a deep comfort and solace in the Druidic Faith of her Halfling heritage. Even though she is nearly constantly surrounded by the means and mechanisms for the production of flaming death, Rabia has a large vegetable and herb garden and an impressive pair of goats that keep her both busy and grounded in her faith.
