Aresh'a Dominus
The Aresh'a Dominus is the head of the governing council of the Aresh Dominion. The office and title were originally intended to be temporary, but have become a permanent part of the government of the Dominion over the course of the last 40 years. There has only been one Dominus in all that time, repeatedly re-elected to the office, and that Dominus is Carr'a Rone.
The Aresh's Dominus is elected by the council members over five years, with the expectation that the officer will act as the chief executive of the government, the chief judge of the courts and the tie-breaking vote in any conciliar action that might result in a tied count. He is the supreme commander of all Dominion military forces in times of crisis or war.
History
Carr'a Rone has held the office of Aresh'a Dominus for just over 51 years. No one has ever contested his rule and he has been chosen unanimously by the ruling council every term he has served.
