Carr'a Rone
Carr'a Rone (a.k.a. Karron)
Carr'a Rone is a 498-year-old Elf originally from the City of Taesirion in the Elven Realm of Naru. He is a veteran of centuries of military service and training in the armies of the Realm, having served directly under the former Autarch of Naru, Kel'a Thron himself. Rone is now the chosen leader of the Dominion of Aresh in the Southern Isles since leaving the Elven Realm more than 120 years earlier.
Known by the name Karron to the local Areshi populations that have adopted him (adapting his Elven name to the local dialect), Rone is the elected leader of the ruling council and the overall commander of all military and defensive forces in the Dominion.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tall and well-muscled for an Elf, with long golden blonde hair, fair skin and green eyes.
Identifying Characteristics
Rone's back is crisscrossed with deep angry scars from years of lashes in the slave pits of Sellenia. The only other visible feature that marks his brutal past are the scars and long-healed injuries to his pointed Elven ears, which were a constant target of abuse during his time in the arenas.
Special abilities
One of the finest archers alive, able to hit a moving palm-sized target at a hundred yards with a bow most grown Human males wouldn't have the strength to draw.
Specialized Equipment
Rone has a dragon bone bow that is capable of putting one of his specially crafted arrow shafts completely through the chest of an armored knight. His arrows are longer, heavier, tipped with dragon's claws and fletched with the membranes scraped from dragon's wings, making them some of the most expensive arrows ever made.

Personal history
Rone was born to a very powerful and influential Elven ruling clan (Familios Electus a'Carri in Elvish) in the City of Taesirion. The Carr Family is ancient (even by Elven standards) and traditionally favored the Drow'anar view of societal and political positions, but Rone and many of the Carri of his generation shunned this view and embraced the tolerance advocated by Kel'a Thron. Rone served nearly three centuries as a high-ranking military officer in the court of the Autarch, but when the Autarch was killed in battle during the Ten Winter War he was removed from his position at court because of his family's Drowkin connections by the new Autarch, Kel'a Bron.
Rone chose to leave Naru and adopt the Vagari lifestyle, wandering the world in an effort to make it a better place. After five decades of travel and exploration, Rone was captured by a troop of Drowkin and sold to slavers from the Empire of Sellenia. He ended up spending 12 years fighting in the arenas of Sellenia as a gladiator, eventually winning his freedom from his owner after earning him huge fortunes in gold dinams. It was then that Rone came to the shores of the Aresh Islands. When Sellenia attacked his new home with a large armada of galleys in 181 AF, Rone took up arms to aid his fellow Areshi and, with his centuries of training and leadership skills, helped defeat the Imperial attacks. For his leadership during the invasion, the people of Aresh offered Rone the role of king, but he refused. Instead, he took on the role of temporary Lord of Aresh (Aresh'a Dominus in Elvish) for a term of five years, until the people could find someone better suited to rule them. He is still the Aresh'a Dominus, having been reelected every five years ever since.

Social Aptitude
Since becoming Aresh'a Dominus, Rone has inspired more than 140 fellow Vagari and more than 25 escaped or freed Elven slaves to join him in his efforts to secure and defend the Dominion. These immigrant Vagari have established a community on the shore near the capital, and have begun work on the formation of a dedicated formation or association to support Rone's efforts.
