Prasinae

Prasinae is a continent in the eastern hemisphere. Although the smallest of the four major land masses of the world, it is still a massive area of land. More than 12 million square miles are covered by the continent, making it slightly larger than Africa in total surface area. It stretches from the 24-degree latitude north through the equator and down as far as 45-degree latitude south. It is a geologically active land with many volcanoes and a 2,800-mile-long rift valley dividing the continent very nearly in half.

Geography

A vast and expansive land of dense jungles, barren volcanic plains and nearly endless black-sand beaches. The continent is very active with a growing rift valley dividing the land and two very active volcanic regions that are creating more territory with each passing year.

Fauna & Flora

Prasinae is almost entirely unexplored by the peoples of the western Thrae, but what little is known shows that there are more monstrous creatures of great size and ferocity there than anywhere else in the world. Of particular note are the native dragons known as Prasinax Worms. These are the largest drakes (four-legged flightless dragons) known to exist anywhere in the world.
