Ebonos cultures

The term Ebonos is a broad descriptor used by the dark-skinned Human people found in and around the equatorial regions of the continent of Thrae. Its origin lies in the Sellenian word meaning "dark" (ebon) and has become a near universal term used by and for the people it describes.

The tone of a people's skin has no appreciable effect on specific cultures, but there are cultures and ethnicities that are made up primarily or entirely of Ebonos people. Most prominent amongst these are the Sellenian people, significant portions of the populations of the Amirate of Cartor and the Arak Coast, and vast, uncharted territories of the interior regions of the southern Thrae continent as yet undocumented by the civilized world.
