Collum was 25 years old during the Imessian invasion of Colo and was at the battle that saw his grandfather, Rowan Benroty, killed by Benn am Ohnni, the Baron of Wessfall and Rowan's son-in-law. It was Collum who carried the body of the dead Ryuri back to Rotrishold and brought the news of the tragic encounter back to his family.j
