Alton am Borri was the Head of the Noble House of Borri and a hero of the Second Great Orc War. His bravery and leadership skills were instrumental in the eventual victory of the Kingdom of Imesse over the Orc hordes.
Alton was only 17 years old when the Orc War broke out. With his father leading regional forces in an attempt to stem the tide of destruction further to the south and west and the hordes appraoched the walls of Coldhome, a pair of knights from Mull that had escaped the initial invasion rode into the city warning of the impending attack. Alton rallied his city and household guard and led thousands out of the city and put them on the roads east and north. With much of the city's population safely outside the walls, Alton ordered the gates closed and barricaded in the hopes that it would delay the horde and buy the fleeing civilians more time to reach safety. It worked, and the Orcs surrounded the city and prepared to overhwelm the defenses. Alton used this time to reform his own forces and make several feinting attacks that further delayed and confused the unruly horde.
Alton is remembered as a hero of the war not only in his home of Coldhome, but also in the Barony of Cyell and the Grand Barony of Wessridge, where he was granted personal estates and holdings for his valiant efforts by the respective Barons of those regions after the war.

Alton was one of the most influential and effective leaders during the Orc War and his name is still remembered in song and story nearly a century later from Coldhome to Wessridge. His extraordinary efforts and the wounds he received during the war contributed to his early death at the age of only 47 years, but he is still a heroic and much loved member of the Borri family.
