Lost Havens

This vast region ringed by mountains was the most populous region of the Northlands before the invasion of orcish forces in the year 1096. 
Long protected by an ancient magical barrier put in place at the World's Scar in the north, aside from occasional harassment from the west, the Havens enjoyed hundreds of years of peace and prosperity. 
In 1051 the region saw its first conflict with inhabitants of the wilds, and then in 1096 the Orcish Horde invaded in force and changed the area forever, leading to it being given the new moniker of 'Lost'.
Most citizens of the new kingdom of Torana and the Crossroads Valley today were once inhabitance of the Havens, having fled the region with help from some forgotten heroes all those years ago.
