Horatio is, first of all, rather curious. After all, there's really little point in traveling to multiple realities and universes except to see what's there and possibly why. You could say that he's adventurous because he could just as easily sent some other being or device or something to do his exploration for him, but instead, he chose to do this himself. However, he's not one for actively seeking out situations that would mess up his clothing.

Author's Notes
Horatio is the catalyst to this "multi-verse" of possibilities. He observes and reports in some of the activities that go on, but sometimes has his own stories to play in. Sometimes, he will not be a factor at all. This "world" is not about him, but on the other hand, it is. And he will grow and develop as I write...sometimes with contradictions or retcons, but, in a way, that is permissible for a being outside of the laws of physics, magic, prose and even laws themselves as we in this universe understand them. It should be noted that while some of Horatio's characteristics are on the humorous, non-sequitur side, they are meant to convey a sense of exotic difference rather than be insulting to the issues of our real world. However, please let me, the author, know if the impact of these descriptions transcends the intent.
