Trdrae

Trdrae is, in Mauran mythology, the god of the world.
Many years ago, Trdrae cooperated with all the other gods, such as Draedean, the god of technology and Landraz, the god of life. It was Trdrae, however, that coordinated the effort and did much of the work. According to legends, Trdrae created itself, and then created the other gods.
Of course, Mauran civillization is not very advanced. Trdrae does not really exist, the population just thinks it does.   As such, Trdrae is usually depicted as extremly powerful and potentially almighty. In art, they can be often seen along with a number of amsller 'shards', the various other gods that they have created to help them with their task of creating the world. Trdrae is often shown as generally benevolant, but thinking of the people inhabiting their universe as small bugs and animals and not wanting to pay attention to them, unlike a god like Landraz.    Not every culture belives in the existance of Trdrae. Some are aetheistic, others believe in other gods. In some cultlures, their role could even be completely different or reversed with other gods, e.g. Trdrae could change roles with Landraz and become the god of life, making Landraz the ultimate god of the universe). Some people even think that the world is Trdrae's body. The megastructure has somewhat manifested the gods of Mauray, despite their nonexistance, in some locations of Mauray. Inhabitants can sometimes be seen talking to an all powerful AI which they percieve is a god like Landraz. The HF does not understand what any of this means.
