Landraz

Landraz is the mythological god of life on Mauray. She is thought to have created all life in the world. This includes all the plant life and other non sentient lifeforms.

It is thought that Landraz was born on Glotall, Mauray, making that continent the origin of life. Initially, She created a massive tree on Glotall. This tree does exist, but was engineered by the world itself. It has become home to thousands of Eptha.
Landraz is usually depicted as a very large Eptha or elf with many flower and plant-like growths on them. This has led some tobelieve that Landraz herself was a host to millions of plantlike organisms. It was also entirely possible that some animal and sentient life lived inside Her body. Some depictions picture her as some other species, or even a non-existant species, or even - according to some - have no material form at all, makingLandraz impossible to draw or depict. Others would claim that all life in existance was a part of Landraz. They also believed Landraz had an evil form that would be revealed to those who killed to many animals unjustly. This was enough to deter many hunters from running a sort of hunting sport, as well as others from destroying forests (which otherwise would have happened due to war). In other version fo the myth, Landraz wants others to kill life. It is notable that, like many myths, Landraz also varied greatly.

Variations & Mutation

The origin point according to most cultures is the huge tree in Glotall. However, some cultures depict Landraz's origin at different points on the planet. Some suggest She did not originate on Mauray at all.
