Taralas I Techprint Station
A very large space station orbiting Tralais I.
The Taralais I Techprint Station is over 40 km in length and is basically a massive Hyperion Federation data center in space. It was designed with the purpose of storing a semi functional techprint of the planet it orbits, involving tracking approximate positions of every atom on the planet in order to allow the Hyperion Science Association HSA to perform a huge variety of Virtual Universe experiments to it without damaging the planet. In order to sustain this immense volume of data, the HF uses some extremely powerful Quantum Computers - and a huge number of them. This takes a lot of antimatter to keep powered. To keep this massive demand satisfied, they use Teleporters to move antimatter to the station from other star systems. The computers use a massive amount of power but due to the use of time crystals they can still store the tech print without power. In this situation it will not be usable.
The station is located in a high orbit in order to counteract orbital decay. It has a number of photon RCS thrusters not powerful enough to make significant velocity changes over short periods but can fully autonomously remain in its high orbit using the antimatter that annihilates in its power core.
The station itself resembles a large cylinder shape. This way it can be easily upgraded with external modules allowing the addition of more matters plasma tanks, antimatter, ZPE modules, more computers, ect.
