Lxalxia - Class Subspatial Starship Drone Carrier

A class of drone carrier with Subspatial Starship capability used by the Xalarin Council.
The Lxalxia is a large ship, but can bring heavy, devastating firepower in the form of space fighters (Only capable of carrying drones) to enemy positions behind enemy lines. It is designed to dive extremely deep and be very hard to detect only to surface near enemy plants or other important locations and destroy a very large number of stations and ships before diving again and resurfacing at another location. It then goes back to base to rearm, only to return to the enemy.

Power Generation

The primary powerplant is an advanced Nullification Generator. In case that fails, 
the Lxalxia is also fitted with very advanced, state of the art fusion reactors that can fuse hydrogen very efficiently as a backup powerplant. It fuses hydrogen all the way up to oxygen, after which it starts becoming less efficient to fuse. The oxygen is expelled from the ship. This is fed a hydrogen supply from an extremely high pressure hydrogen tank, that stores hydrogen in an extremely dense metallic state of matter that is normally found inside gas giants.

Propulsion

It is propelled with similarly efficient fusion thrusters. They work by fusing hydrogen in the thruster itself, directing the resulting oxygen atoms and radiation backwards at extremely high velocity. This produces a very large amount of thrust, allowing the ship to accelerate surprisingly fast. It turns using small, very high power ion thrusters which can convert electricity into thrust.

Weapons & Armament

The Lxalxia - Class Subspatial Starship Drone Carrier is almost entirely unarmed other than its missiles intended for striking enemy positions. It relies mainly on its fighters to destroy any nearby threats, but good use of the craft will avoid surfacing near such situations. It does come with a relatively large laser CIWS network though, as it must be able to keep threatening the enemy for a long time and resist missile strikes that can operate at long range. The carrier also has railgun-like CIWS that can destroy larger, longer ranged missiles. The CIWS network is also often used to support the fighters themselves, destroying enemy fighters rapidly.

Armor and defense

The ship has a fairly strong hull. This armour is very strong for a subspatial starship, because it also needs to resist a somewhat powerful attack for its role. Its shield is more powerful but still would not resist an extremely powerful attack.

Hangars & docked vessels

It can launch a varying number of drones. It has rapid response craft, anti-fighter fighters, powerful fighters armed with anti ship missiles and various fighters for other roles.
