GAE Doctrine

The Grand Artanat Empire military is reliant on sheer numbers to overwhelm the enemy force. As the GAT itself uses tracking implants on its people, it can easily know the exact positions of their forces at all times. This gives them a decent intel advantage typically.
Their soldiers are sometimes also engineered. They have been grown for use in various specific scenarios, and have also engineered a species similar to Zekolons, which are living gunships. The GAE went further with this, and engineered biomechanical dropships and tall, legged mechs. The GAE uses these for air support and heavy firepower. Though the biomechanical mechs can have a very high profile, they can easily crouch and become about 5 m tall.
When air support is used, it is used in very large amounts. They also like to adopt a blitzkreig-like strategy; as such, many of its solders are engineered to be incredibly fast when running while still carrying their weapon and other gear. Its vehicles are often fast as well, and mass produced. All this results in an overewhelming force being deployed towards the enemy at very high speed which gives them little time to repel attackers.
This has created big problems for the Hyperion Federation in particular, as the HF is already short on numbers which often leads them to be outnumbered by almost 40:1. The HF primarily uses their extremely powerful and fast weapons to dispatch groups of GAE forces. In some cases, even Suppressor Assault Rifles are powerful enough to damage GAE tanks.
