From the Grave - part 1
General Summary
17th of Fara'ure
Several hours on the road out of Whitehedge, a storm sets in hampering the
groups travel. As Marrek takes the wagon off of the main road to find
shelter, he stumbles across a long abandoned cemetery. The party
investigates the site and finds it contains a large statue of Vecna which
contains a door hidden in its base. Klara and Avalan pry it open and
everyone goes inside to get out of the rain.
After some discussion, they move further into the area marking the way to the exit as they go. The first trap in the temple is discovered by Marrek, falling into a pit filled with snakes. Once Marrek and Eliwrath escape the pit, Klara leads the party to a room containing a ring hovering over a pedestal. She grabs the ring, identifying it as a Ring of Vecna and shadows emerge from the walls and attack.
The group eventually defeats the shadows and retreats to the wagon to rest until the next morning.
18th of Fara'ure
Resuming their search, they find a room with many door handles build into
the wall. Eliwrath pulls on one of the handles, the door crumbling before
her. Several other doors burst open as the corpses within attack.
