Sealed Portal to the Underworld

Several years ago a small war was fought to defeat a band of demonic cultivators before they could become a threat to the entire region. After the demonic cultivators were defeated their fortress was razed and the portal they had built to the underworld was sealed using with formations and thousands of tons of rock. But underneath it all the portal is still there. A point where the underworld is close and ichor leaks up to the surface.
