Alaks Dahvrechi

Elder

This is one of the most ancient beings alive, one who has been around to see empires rise and fall, and watch the world evolve.

This is the first vampire ever created by Appolyus, and thus the most ancient, he is the eldest of the originals and one of the few who still lives.

Legends

Covered in Myth, Alaks Dahvrechi's life story is a much-debated topic, and many of these stories are as old as mankind itself, as he has been walking the earth for many thousands of years.

Early Life

All that is known of his youth is that he lived somewhere in the current dendor, in the first near the mountains. His parents were Ybua worshippers, who sacrificed his teenage soul to the lord Apolloyus in exchange for his favor, which backfired, as he used his mana to create a beast of the night, a vampire, and shortly thereafter, The Ynue created the rest of the original elder vampires.
What became of Alaks' parents is unknown, but his home village has long since been destroyed, and none know where it used to be.

Magic

Even as a mortal, he had been a talented mage, he had merely had his birth element back then, that of dark, which suited him even better once he had become the undead, he used it to hide, and to traverse the shadows, he spent much of his early years as a vampire on discovering his powers and abilities, and tracking down all the other vampires made by Apollyus, many decided to follow him, as he was the eldest, and most powerful of them, although not by much. He was still young, and his power was that of a fledgling. There were others who opposed him tho, which sparked the first series of vampire wars, which were mostly fought in the shadow of the dendorian night, even if it wasn't called that yet at the time.

He quickly ascended and gained his second element, Plasma, a rare element for those who start with Dark.

Midnight

It is a well-known fact that he at some point traveled to midnight, Apollyus' home realm, in search of his true vampire power. It is there that he fought the Ynue lord for three days and three nights, as legends go, and defeated him. In reality, the duel is more likely to have lasted just a few hours, and the Ynue likely let him win, because an Ynue in his own realm is a god unrivaled, and cannot be beaten by a mere vampire. It is believed that for his power and skill in battle, Apollyus gifted Alaks his left pinky finger, which contained a fraction of his true Ynue power, this simple act lifted Alaks from mere vampire to demi-god status, as the body of Apolllyus is a piece of Yanu, who is in turn a piece of the One.

Bane of the Black Bloods

Alaks Dahvrechi played a major role as the vampire representative in the Living Dead Coalition, during the black blood rebellion, and he is credited with defeating Morgalith during the batlle of the frost plains and sending his soul to his master in the nether realm, Thus defeating the black bloods. His influence was even able to maintain peace between vampires and mortals for some time before war broke out once again.

This is why after the return of Morgalith, sparking the war for the world, he was called on once again to save Veskar.

Relationships

He has had two wives, one of whom is still alive. His first wife was a fae. who are immune to vampirism, and can therefore not be turned, they had one child together.

Long after the death of his first wife, Alaks remarried to an eastern woman named Mezha Al-Gaz, from an ethnic group that no longer exists. She was a powerful mage and skin-changer with the ability to transform into a direwolf, and he turned her into a vampire.

Children

Sarah Dahvrechi Was the only child of Alaks, and his first wife. She has much of her fathers power, and she is the strongest of all his children, but she looks much like her mother, she is easily mistaken for an Enyanian Elf, due to her skin color, and pointy ears, she is also much taller than a regular fae.

He had four children with his second wife, the youngest quite recently.
Jazhaphesh "Joseph" Dahvrechi is the oldest, he he is a strong mage and vampire, with the ability to transform into a bear. He is the tallest of all the Dahvrechi's, being around two meters tall. He is a known recluse, and he lives with his vampire wife in a forest somewhere.
Elizash and Erikezh "the Twins" Dahvrechi also named Liz and Erik, are in the middle, They are Alaks' main agents in the world, he has had them study incognito in the mage academy, and he has sent them on many missions in the world. They are powerful mages, and skilled warriors, on top of being very well educated. They have the ability to transform into direwolves, just like their mother, in their off time they life with their father on Llianmye.
Kamikezh "The Child" Dahvrechi is the youngest, she looks the most like her mother, in contrast to her three full siblings, who look much more like their father, She is the least powerful, and isn't a full adult yet, in vampire reckoning, despite being much older than any human, she is attending a number of military and magical academies, pretending to be a regular human, much like her younger siblings. She has inherited Skin-Changer powers from her mother, which allow her to turn into a tiger.

"Age: Old" is my favorite part of this article. It made me laugh because I have debated about doing this on a few characters myself to indicate that they have lived so long that people don't really know their age anymore. And to try and leave some mystery to characters.
