Sanctuary of Rejuvenation
Found in the small town of Tergaron in the Dalarn Lowlands, the monastery known as the Sanctuary of Rejuvenation is a beacon to those wishing to deciate their lives to the Holy Light. Focused on healing and the more phillisophical teachings of The Church of the Holy Light, the Monastery has stood for over 800 years.
Most that come to the monastery do so to seek healing or enlightenment, both in the forms of physical healing, as well as spiritual. After a short stay, they typically depart, having found the healing they need. However, others find a lasting connction with the Holy Light and may wish to stay to join the Order. For those inclined to, they often forego all of their worldly possessions, shave their heads and don the robes and attire of the Sanctury's Order, becoming an Initiate.
Those that join find their life strictly dedicated to duties in the monastery, as well as training, meditation and reflection. A small library is kept for those wishing to delve in to deeper mysteries concerning the Holy Light. There are no strict rules that govern members cannot leave the grounds of the monastery, but due to the duties required, there is often not much chance for members to venture further than the local town.
After 5 years of routine and dedication, the Initiate will be given the hoice to join the Monastery for the rest of their like, or depart. Those that join will make up the Monks and Nuns of the Order, and will learn of the healing methods used within the Sanctuary. For those that leave, they are allowed back in to the world, with the promise that they are always welcome back to the Sanctuary of Rejuvenation.
