Session 31 - Mimics & Vrocks & Rescuing Damsels

Continuing their exploration, the adventurers run in to some Mimics and are attacked! They overcome the creatures and several more obstacles, making it to the room Xaphia was conducting her ritual in.

When they get their, they find the Dark Elf is gone. The body of the ghostly woman remains on the bed, covered in Cultist runes that have been carved in to her flesh. The ghostly, screaming woman is seen above the bed, looking over her corpse. Momments later, a giant, winged creature bursts through from the balcony. A fight breaks out, but the creature is soon laid low.

The party finds Evalia, Zan's Mother, in the next room, unharmed. She shares the knowledge she gleamed from Xaphia over the past few days. The ritual is to summon a nentity known as Virulos, and if it steps foot in to the Sanctuary of Rejuvenation, a magical seal of some sort will be broken!

The adventurers leave the Manor House, laying the sacrificed woman to rest in the Church quickly, before heading to the Monastery. There, they find Andreas Wildheart, the Human Druid, who has grave news - he warns the party of the horde of Zombies heading this way!
