Session 27 - The Abandoned Manor Part I

The group continues their investigation, facing off Ghasts and Ghouls and finding notes in the study. Some notes detail Cultist Symbols, and one is a message to Xaphia herself - it details a voyage she is to take in the coming month from Silver Bay to the North.

Upon investigating the library, they find it is haunted. After some clashes with Ghouls, some traps being triggered, and Brenlazar infected with the Black Smile, the group decides to leave to recover. Before fully leaving, Zan sneaks up the wall (using some magical boots he was recently gifted), and spies Xaphia in one of the upstairs rooms. She appears to be working on a corpse, one that looks similar to the Ghost that has been following the group!

Zan is spotted, and sees Xaphia begin casting a spell towards him. The party flees and returns to the Sanctuary of Rejuvenation for rest.
