Bokesh
Bokesh is the second-smallest city in The Murqhin Sadheri, and is home to the largest mining industry in the kingdom.
Industry & Trade
The largest, and possibly only, industry in Bokesh is mining. Most of the city's population work in its dangerous mines, extracting many different kinds of minerals. Saltpetre is also collected from caves in the mountains, and transported south to Caran for use in firearms.
The city is not self-sufficient, and has to import food from Caran and Sidhe to feed its population.
Infrastructure
The city has several large smelters used to produce metals from the raw ores mined in the hills. There are many small mines dotted across the mountains near the city, and the well-constructed roads through the mountains allow for the easy transport of goods into the city.
Geography
The city is situated at the foot of the Boka Mountains, the largest mountain range in Sadhera (Continent). From this mountain flows the river Siadh, which passes by Bokesh on its course towards Sidhe. The land around the city is mostly arid, and unsuitable for farming of any kind.
Natural Resources
The mountain range to the east of the city is rich in metals and minerals, including iron, silver, gold, and saltpetre.
