Historical Basis

It is not known when this series of foretellings was recorded, but it almost certainly was a good while after the Shattertide Duergaar clan had become isolated from the other native inhabitants of The Isle of Popkin in the Amaan'iska Lava Tunnel Network.   It is also not known who uttered them, or in what circumstances; like many of the early and middle period documents recorded in the Temple of the Tears archives, no context was provided by the scribe. A Duergaar source seems most likely, as these prophecies were completely unknown on the surface.
