The Red & Black defeat Brackish Betty, a Night Hag, and recover the first Miasma Bomb.

In the small, muddy, and innocuous fishing village of Greyhook, a miasma bomb had been hidden by Grindstaff. As the Red & Black investigated the town, they discovered that it had been under nightly siege by Deep Ones, slimy, vaguely humanoid fish creatures from the depth of the ocean. In the course of tracking down the cause of these attacks, they met Brackish Betty, a Night Hag who lived nearby and who fed upon the misery of the townsfolk. In her possession was the glass, brass, barrel-like miasma bomb, gifted to her, apparently, by Grindstaff himself. Though she did not fully understand the nature of the device, she sensed the great misery contained within and cherished it.   Brackish Betty was defeated (escaped) by the Red & Black. They took possession of the bomb and secured it in a large lead-lined crate, to prevent scrying. They bid the now peaceful village farewell and sailed up the coast towards Cliffport, where another miasma bomb was expected to be found.
