Half-Orc

Not a true race unto themselves, Half-Orcs are nonetheless common enough to warrant their own distinct place in NewGen. Usually the product of Human/Common Orc parentage, Half-Orcs can vary wildly in their appearance and demeanor. Some are animalistic brutes, little better than their Orc parent, and others appear to be humans with a slight tinge to their skin color, slightly pointed ears, or just noticeably larger lower canine teeth.
Generally, their mixed parentage is obvious, with a 50-50 mix of human and orcish traits, including broad, ridged faces, tusks and green or grey skin. Half-Orcs can be as intelligent as their human half, but are also generally stronger and heartier.
A Half-Orc's temperament depends greatly, but not entirely, on which culture they're raised in. Capable of both savagery and sophistication, they do tend towards violence, regardless of upbringing. Like their pure Orcish brethren who find themselves in civilized lands, they commonly find work in physical vocations.
