The 2nd Spears of I'lera

One of the most recognized military groups in I'lera, the 2nd Spears of I'lera are sworn protectors of the kingdom under the command of the crown ruler of I'lera. They consist of small, highly trained, and highly disciplined groups of fighters and rangers that specialize in the use of a spear and shield. These warriors are often called Rose Knights due to their magic spears that glow a rosy color at night. They are named after the famous Red Knight who was known as the 1st Spear of I'lera before he died in battle forging what would later become the kingdom of I'lera.

Structure

2nd Spear. A trained soldier in their fighting style likely having one of the following proficiencies.

• Spearman. Common soldier.
• Healer. Member trained in healing.
• Ranger. Member trained in wilderness navigation.
• Caster. Member trained in some form of magic.

Squad. A group of 4 Spears trained to work together with exact coordination.

• Captain. Leads the squad.
• Vice-Captain. Assists the captain and takes command if they fall.

Unit. A team of 4 squads brought together for more advanced or dangerous military operations.

• General. Leads the unit.
• Vice-General. Assists the general and takes command of they fall.

Command. A division of 4 units that happens only in times of great danger or war. Currently only two full commands are active.

• Commander. Leads the command.
• Vice-Commander. Assists the commander and takes command if they fall.

The Red Spear. The title given to the leader of all of the 2nd Spears in reference to the fabled 1st Spear of I'lera, The Red Knight. This individual is a very gifted warrior and answers only to the Council of I'lera on most matters. The current Red Spear is Arthur Dawn.

Very organized and extremely disciplined. Trained for several years as a squad. Never go anywhere without your full squad ever.
