Benóný's Barricade

Benóný's Barricade is a small set of battlements built by the order of King Benóný II Bruyn, founder of House Bruyn. The battlements protect a series of tunnels that could be used to siege the city of Rachdale called The Tunnels of Rachdale. Benóný's Barricade located on a small overlook out into The Valley of Echor-neâr from Dúrorod Mountain and it is isolated from any main roads. To get to the battlements gate you must follow a path just narrow enough to find a singular wagon. Soldiers hate being station at Benóný's Barricade as there is nothing to do on the opposite side of Dúrorod Mountain from Rachdale. Lord Gill II Granholm appointed Ser Rhys V Lowe, uncle of Lord Aled IV Lowe, as the Knight of Benóný's Barricade . At first glance this appears to be a great honor but Lord Gill II Granholm appointed Ser Rhys V Lowe as a punishment for drinking too much while serving as Protector of Hecosa's Gate. Ser Rhys V is the uncle of Lord Aled IV Lowe, Lord of Bracklewhyte and Head of House Lowe.
