The Barrowmere Sea

On the northeastern border of Estria and the northwestern border of Omas lies the Barrowmere Sea, a body of water that begins with deep blue waters before quickly turning cold and hazardous as sailors venture northward towards the lands of The Crystal Glade. The sea's surface reflects the clear azure of the sky on calm days, but its depths conceal treacherous currents and hidden hazards that pose a constant threat to unwary travelers.   As ships sail northward from the temperate shores of Estria and Omas, they soon encounter a dramatic shift in climate and environment. The air grows colder, carrying with it a biting chill that seems to penetrate to the bone. Thick mists shroud the sea, obscuring visibility and making navigation perilous, while icebergs drift ominously on the surface, posing a constant danger of collision.   The waters of the Barrowmere Sea are known for their frigid temperatures, which plummet to bone-chilling depths as sailors approach the icy shores of the Crystal Glade. Sheets of ice begin to form on the surface, creating treacherous obstacles for ships and threatening to trap them in their icy grip. Powerful currents flow beneath the surface, their turbulent eddies capable of capsizing even the sturdiest vessels.   Despite the hazards that abound in the Barrowmere Sea, it remains a vital route of travel for those brave enough to venture northward. Merchant ships ply its waters in search of rare commodities and exotic goods, while explorers and adventurers seek to uncover the secrets of the frozen wasteland that lies beyond. Yet the sea demands respect and caution, for those who underestimate its power may find themselves at the mercy of its icy embrace, lost amidst the frozen expanse of the Crystal Glade.
