The Executive Branch is headed up by the President, a position for which all Kindred Ancilla recognized in the city in principle can run. In practice, the Malkavian elder Malcolm Hargrave has won all but one election since the founding of the republic. Having a metaphorically beating heart for the Carthian Movement, Hargrave was responsible for establishing the majority of the institutions in the Shadow Republic.
The President is responsible for appointing cabinet members and for executing the laws as laid down by the two legislative branches.
Notably, the President can veto any resolution from the Legislative Branch, with only a unanimous vote was made in both houses, a practical impossibility.
The Election Period for the presidency is forty years.

Chief of Staff - George Kelly
The Chief of Staff manages the kine necessary to make the Shadow Republic run. No kindred with respect for herself would spend eternity managing all the necessary paperwork and, as such, a certain number of Kine must be involved - And kept ignorant of what they are doing. The position, as such, can be held only by someone truly skilled at manipulation and subterfuge.
Herald - Sandra Aston
The Herald is responsible for managing news, both kindred and kine. Effectively, the Herald acts as a messenger and point of contact for the President as well as the one who pulls the string on Kine Media, upholding the masquerade.
