Trade palace

Most trade of any value in Quirm is conducted in one spot, a gigantic open palace built as a walled ring centered around a huge forty feet tall statue of @pelti cast in bronze and covered in gold leaf standing on a ten-foot-high plinth of perfectly white marble. Surrounding the statue is the cities primary source of freshwater, a great fountain that pouts out water through the workings of a great magical artifact hidden under the statue and guarded by water elementals and wards. The trade palace itself is 600 feet in diameter and the inner wall is set with colonnades while the outer wall is like that of a fortress. While the wall is technically complete the palace of trade is very much still under construction, with the eastern and northern sides still only consisting of lover unadorned stone walls. The palace of trade is a bustling fare that holds open from dawn until sundown, as all trade ‘should be done’ in the light.

The auctionary

Exotic wares and valuable goods will usually be sold at the auction. It is located in the eastern end of the palace of trade and is a grandiose building.
