Personal history

Shabanise grew up in the Great Araby Desert and when she reached adulthood, she left home to become a Sailor, obsessed with the calling of the sea (sometimes she still has a hard time beleaving that the world has this much water). However, her peaceful days of sailing didn't last as long as she had hoped. A year after she bacame a barrelman, the captain (the man whom taught her everything about sailing) died and his son took over the mantel of captain. The new captain however did not have the same morals as his father when it came to respect between the captain and the crew and sold Shabanise to a pirate whom still needed a barrelman.

You want to one day get out of this pirate life and work on an honest sailing ship, but you know that that is unlikely to ever happen.

My friends know they can rely on me, no matter what. I enjoy sailing into new ports and making new friends over a flagon of ale.

Respect. The thing that keeps a ship together is mutual respect between captain and crew.
