Usually requires dark as sunlight effects them negatively. They seek the world below or caverns or cave systems as their homes.

Omnivorous and able to consume more eclectic foods.

The Dark Elves have exceptional sight in the dark. They also have a sense for toxins and poisons in the air or in liquids and can hear above the normal frequencies of many other creatures.

Their are certain species of giant spiders that can merge physically with a Dark Elf to become a Drider.
