Bounty Hunter's Guild

The Bounty Hunter's Guild, an enigmatic but influential organization, stands as a formidable presence in the galaxy. As a somewhat official community of Bounty Hunters, the Guild thrives on its ability to contract hunters for various governmental and corporate bodies. Their reputation for unwavering reliability and cold efficiency has made them the go-to choice for clients across the cosmos. However, this reliability is rooted in a system of stern regulations and severe penalties, a concept that reinforces the Guild's reputation.   At the heart of the Bounty Hunter's Guild is a complex web of relationships. Acting as intermediaries, they skillfully match clients with the perfect hunters for the job, ensuring that payments are made promptly and their contracts are fulfilled to the letter. The Guild's professional and tightly managed approach to their contracts has garnered the trust of clients who are willing to pay a premium for their services.   Notably, while the Guild tends to take a hands-off approach regarding its members' ethics, morals, or methods, a singular exception is found in the enigmatic leader, Guildmaster Abram El'Sarada. El'Sarada upholds a peculiar code of conduct that governs the actions of all hunters under his purview. He vehemently insists that a contract on a target must be secured before any violence is enacted. Those who breach this principle are met with severe consequences, ranging from expulsion and abandonment by the Guild to more sinister threats that could lead to their demise. As long as there is a legally binding contract in place, the hunters enjoy considerable autonomy in pursuing and neutralizing their quarry.   This unique blend of unfettered autonomy and a stringent code of conduct has made the Bounty Hunter's Guild a melting pot of individuals who are as diverse in their morality as they are in their skills. The organization is home to ruthless sociopaths and battle-hardened mercenaries with a fragile moral compass, working together under the watchful eye of El'Sarada.

Notable Contracts

The Fall of Ravikor

In the Fringe Colonies, the notorious warlord Zaraq Ravikor terrorized entire systems. The formidable hunter duo of Vex and Kyrade pursued Ravikor, using their combined wit and firepower to corner the warlord on the derelict space station, 'Wraith's End.' After a fierce firefight and a close encounter with a plasma grenade, Ravikor was finally subdued and handed over to the authorities.

The Whispering Assassin

A shadowy figure known as 'The Whispering Assassin' had eluded capture for years. The enigmatic hunter known simply as 'Silhouette' relentlessly tracked the assassin through the labyrinthine alleys of the Celestial Spires on Nihil. In a heart-pounding confrontation, Silhouette cornered the assassin in an abandoned theater, where blades clashed and secrets were revealed. 'The Whispering Assassin' met a silent end.

The Great Escape of Marsa Prime

A group of interstellar pirates, led by the cunning Captain Marsa Prime, was notorious for their audacious heists. The maverick hunter known as 'Lucky' took on the challenge of infiltrating their stronghold. After a thrilling chase and a climactic space battle, Captain Prime's pirate crew was apprehended, and the Guild collected the bounties on all their heads.

The Duel on Cinder's Veil

A high-stakes contract was placed on the infamous duelist Vaelen Stark. A veteran hunter named 'Sable' accepted the challenge and engaged Stark in a legendary duel on the fiery planet Cinder's Veil. Their fast-paced exchange of blaster fire and blade combat was the stuff of legend, and Stark's reign of terror came to a dramatic end.

Operation Eclipse

A rogue scientist named Dr. Margarit Hrest had eluded several attempts at capture. The resourceful hunters known as 'Eclipse Team' launched Operation Eclipse to track her down. After a prolonged chase that led them across the galaxy, the team successfully intercepted and secured Dr. Hrest in an abandoned research station on the outskirts of the Vinci Nebula.

Assets

The Guild owns several ships, buildings on planets, and rooms in Space Stations. They tend to have an independent armory for their permanent members, though their assets are far lighter than most. It is rumored that they have a convoy of 3 ships traveling between their holdings at all times that holds the majority of their currency before it is stored in their permanent vaults. Many pirates, raiders, and even bounty hunters have tried but failed to ambush that convoy to take that currency for themselves.

History

The origins of the illustrious Bounty Hunter's Guild can be traced back to its humble beginnings, a relatively short time ago in the grand tapestry of galactic history. It is important to note that the modern Guild is a culmination of five smaller guilds, each vying to establish their own concept of a unified hunters' coalition. Their amalgamation into the powerful organization known today was the brainchild of none other than Guildmaster Abram El'Sarada.   In the previous iterations of these smaller guilds, competition was fierce. They each sought to realize the same vision, albeit through different approaches. Guildmaster Abram El'Sarada masterminded the guilds' union by employing a blend of cunning subterfuge, calculated violence, and skillful negotiation. It was this unification that transformed what were once competing factions into the cohesive and influential entity that exists today.   Under Guildmaster Abram El'Sarada's capable leadership, the Bounty Hunter's Guild has become a paragon of efficiency, reliability, and professionalism, laying the foundation for a new era in the annals of interstellar bounty hunting. The history of the Guild is one of growth, evolution, and the relentless pursuit of its members' contracts, forging a legacy that echoes through the galaxy.

Aspects

Relentless Pursuit of Contracts

The Bounty Hunter's Guild is defined by its unwavering commitment to tracking, capturing, or eliminating targets. Their reputation for completing contracts with ruthless efficiency precedes them, and this dedication is the cornerstone of their existence.

Unity in Diversity

The Guild's strength is rooted in its diverse membership, stemming from various backgrounds, species, and moral codes. This unity in diversity grants them a unique versatility, allowing them to tackle an extensive range of contracts, from government assignments to corporate bounties.

Abram El'Sarada's Code

The peculiar code of conduct established by Guildmaster Abram El'Sarada dictates that every hunt must commence only when a contract is firmly in place. This code is the Guild's guiding principle and has drawn a distinctive line between legitimate Bounty Hunters and outlaws. Hunter ethics, or lack thereof, play a crucial role in the Guild's affairs. Violation of El'Sarada's code results in severe consequences, including expulsion, loss of the Guild's protection, or even the ultimate penalty—death.
