Trezekh

The Father of Shadows

Oldest brother to Syros, Trezekh, the master of shadows, bringer of night and deity of the Cult of Trezekh, has had arguably the biggest influence on the galaxy out of any of the Sirasion Pantheon, or any denizen of the Pantheon Realm in general. Not afraid to break the rules if it means his children will succeed, Trezekh on multiple occasions has brought his shadowy wrath to bare on those he deems unfit to live.

Divine Domains

Trezekh heralds from his own pocket of the Pantheon Realm. In the lands of Trezekh, it is said the sky is a midnight black with no stars but a single ball of light that casts long shadows across the jagged rocks, mangled trees and towering cliffs. In the realm of Trezekh there is no colour, and every shadow cast from the light can attack and consume when it is manifested.    It is somewhere in this location where Siran was hidden for 200 years as well as where all Tesseract explosions transport the victims. The only way to survive here is to be faithful to Trezekh and give ones self in to his shadowy grip. Or in the case of the Sirasions, establish an assassination cult dedicated to him.

Holy Books & Codes

There are a number of texts claiming to be the word of Trezekh, however in reality Trezekh has a habit of speaking directly to his most loyal followers, relaying his ideas and desires through them.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

It is no secret Trezekh is jealous of his brother, Syros. He carrys somewhat of a resentment for him after he won The Great Game , claiming ownership over the material universe. Trezekh knew he had not the strength to beat his brother, so instead helped guide him to victory. Trezekh secretly wishes to undermine his brother's work and turn the Sirasions, His most proud creation, over to him.

Physical Description

Body Features

Trezekh is described in a number of ways, but his most common depiction is that of an overly skinny, malnourished torso with long, flowing robes that extend several times the length of his body that seem to be melded into his grey skin, they also cover his thin, bony face in a hood like structure. Trezekh's eyes are said to be hollow sockets, and looking directly at them will mean your soul then belongs to him.     Alternatively, Trezekh may take the form of a whirling black mass with a voice that penetrates into the minds of everyone nearby. further still, he can contort this mass into any shape he pleases.    From his arm Trezekh can call fourth a double ended blade bristling with black and green lightning that behaves in a similar way to his trademark Tesseract, anyone struck by this blade being sent hurtling into his shadow realm.

Personal history

Trezekh is the oldest brother to Syros, the Sirasion god of war. There had always been an element of competition between the two, but Syros was always the stronger brother. They had their squabbles and arguments as any two brothers would until the day 'The Artefact' was discovered.   The Artefact was a spherical object that contained everything in the material universe, all inside an object the size of a foot ball. Great power was promised to the one who could successfully claim it, but like in all things everyone believed themselves worthy of owning it. So a massive gladiatorial combat was organised where everyone who wanted could enter the ring and attempt to claim it.   The battle itself went on for the equivalent of years. Pitting family against family, and in the case of Syros and Trezekh, brother against brother. Trezekh knew he would not be able yo hold out for as long as Syros, so he made it his goal to have his brother win by any means necessary. he would poison combatants, manipulate their perception of light and dark and over all cause a lot of mischief.   Eventually, there were no more challengers to Syros' claim on The Artefact, so he took it for himself, in doing so becoming widely recognised as the most powerful in the realm. As Syros discovered what the Artefact was, Trezekh paid close attention, his brother helping to shape a species of creatures within it that were made in his image. Trezekh grey incredibly jealous of his brother, but also desperately wanted access to this little universe.   Trezekh spent a large portion of his power in to creating a tool he called the World Forger. Specifically made to create planets within the material universe. Syros was interested and allowed Trezekh access to test his new device.   Trezekh spent a long time creating planets, in doing so, leaving behind trace amounts of his own material; Tesseract . This was the first stage in his plan to turn his brothers creations - who had not even left the microbial stage at this point - over to him.   _____________________-   One day however, Trezekh made a discovery. Other races, much more advanced than what his brother was creating, already existed. The Sirasions as they were now called had begun a primitive animal stage, while others walked on two legs and were capable of cognitive thought. The race Trezekh encountered would later become known as the Necrophytes   Trezekh became so fascinated with these creatures that it took his attention off of planet building. He began to toy with them, giving them a number of environmental and social challenges to overcome. However these primitive creatures were not as stupid as he thought. On one of his many trips among them, one Necrophyte, Rei'Shreng managed to trick Trezekh into following him up the top of a huge mountain during a lightning storm. There he confronted Trezekh, calling him out for all his meddling. Rei'shreng and the Necrophyte people worshipped the storm, believing it would aid him against Trezekh he attacked.   Trezekh made light work of Rei'shreng, throwing him off the cliff to his death below, or so he thought. As Trezekh in his anger prepared to raze the entire world - directly against his brothers commands to not destroy - he didn't realise Rei'shreng was still clinging on. He took the tool from Trezekh's hands. Despite Trezekh's warnings of him not being capable of wielding it, tried anyway. The power overwhelmed him as the tool created a catastrophic explosion, funnelling power into Rei'shreng and disfiguring Trezekh. The tool itself shattering into a number of pieces.   This event went on to cement Rei'Shreng as a god in Necrophyte society, his legend carrying on for countless millennia. Trezekh on the other hand was not well received by Syros after this. He was warned not to meddle in mortal affairs again or face the consequences.   ____________________________--   Trezekh did not heed his brother's warning, instead continuing to get involved in mortal affairs. He granted Sypherian  a vision, a powerful one showing her his entire history. This vision took place over the course of several days. It was with this inspiration that the Cult of Trezekh was formed. While the cult themselves carried out their grim work in their god's name, it was not until Trezekh created his avatar that he did the most damage.    Having stored so much of his raw power inside the shattered World Forger, Trezekh knew his power was waning. Using what he had left he created himself an avatar to inhabit the mortal realm with. his goal being to find the shattered pieces of the World Forger and restore his lost power. The easiest way to look for it would be as one of the mortals who inhabited the material universe. He knew the pieces had to be somewhere within the milkyway, so he watched and waited until a trail began to form.   An exhibition between all major factions was organised to head deep into The High Tekno space station known as Tartarus. This station was said to house a number of ancient artefacts found by the faction on their crusades, the chances of a piece of the tool being within were fairly high. Trezekh, under the guise of Zhertek, with a group of Cult of Trezekh operatives including Sypherian herself navigated deep into the structure.   They didn't find any of the World Forger, but they did find a stone map made entirely from Tesseract, When Trezekh in his mortal form touched it it gave him a surge of power, allowing him to manifest his true form momentarily. Being reunited with the stone activated the severed pieces of the World Forger; the ten power nodes, the Omega Lock and the Anvil.   Factions began to find pieces of the tool, using the immense energy output from the power nodes to create mind boggling designs, such as the S.I.N Kraken and power for the Skaronian Clone plants on New Skara.   Trezekh now only had to wait, for he knew that bringing the ten nodes together would strengthen the presence of the Anvil part of the tool, the Omega Lock being widely known as being located on Earth. As the factions tore each other apart over finding a device that would create and destroy planets at will, Trezekh hid in his temple on Siran, being tended to by the cult.   Trezekh knew that returning to the pantheon realm, even if he could, having used up what little power he had left to create his avatar, there would be harsh punishments waiting for him to be given out by his brother, that was unless his World Forger could be re-created.   Trezekh's plan however would be shattered when Bashi used his Rada to take all ten nodes. despite all the major factions coming together to find the Anvil, the Rada still managed to complete the World Forger. Bashi intended to use it to summon Igsim , the Great Worm, but in an unexpected turn, Igsim destroyed Bashi's body and the World Forger with it.   Trezekh now knew his power was gone. Having gotten to know Sypherian very well by now, the two shared one last night of passion together before Trezekh let Syros take him. He was greeted by his brother in a gladiatorial combat arena where he was slew multiple times over before eventually being imprisoned within is own realm, completely severed from the mortal realm.   However, in their final night together, in his mortal form, Trezekh left Sypherian with his child, Sar'lira. When Trezekh was imprisoned by Syros his connection to the mortal realm was sundered, meaning all who felt and relied on the divine presence of Trezekh could no longer feel him. This caused the official disbandment of the Cult of Trezekh, however despite the lack of presence, there are still those who worship Trezekh and his ideals.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Trezekh is driven by a lust for power but also by jealousy toward his brother for having won The Great Game and secured ownership over the material universe. This is something Trezekh himself wanted but knew he was not powerful enough to best his brother. Instead he vied to take it for himself by use of trickery and deceit. The planets he built were all so he could plant his Tesseract in Syros' galaxy and later use it to overthrow him. Unlike his brother Trezekh cares little about the Sirasions as a race, however he does take great enjoyment in the Cult of Trezekh's worship of him as a means to spite his brother.
