Rayej System
The First Multiverse.
The Rayej System is a large solar system near the edge of the Alpha Galaxy. Many creatures in the Rayej system have superficial resemblance to extinct Earth species, and some are directly descended from said species. The Rayej system was the first discovered system to have opened the idea of the existence of interplanetary dimensional rifts, which allowed a few members of the extinct species to be transferred from Earth to the planets there.
Rayej consists of ten planets: Phetheruta, Zoiyama, Yiahines, Cannugawa, Iphiri, Voalia, Leenov, Ruturn, Buzuno, and Grahuter. Of these planets, two of them -- Zoiyama and Cannugawa -- are capable of easily supporting human life. The rest support multi-cellular life, but only six support sapient life, those six being Zoiyama, Cannugawa, Iphiri, Leenov, Rutum, and Grahuter. The rest only have non-sapient life forms and plants. All of these planets rotate around a single star: Alpha Rugae Volis, a red dwarf star. The fact that a red dwarf is able to support so much life is baffling to many scientists, and they are still trying to figure out why this is.
As for religions, there are five major Pantheons in the Rayej system. Each one rules two planets, but devoutness and piety on each planet ranges from place to place. The gods of planets with non-sapient life tend to be mocked, whereas the gods of planets with sapient life are considered more powerful. Magic is high in the Rayej system among sapient life forms.
