Session 78: How Far The Team Will Go? Report

General Summary

Anselma gets Eleia and Reolus… The group hears murmurs downstairs. Not being able to understand the than Old Nord, and none of the Slavic. When the group gets down they see a character sitting in the corner. The corner sits a thing with bronze metal armor that has hinges looking like a statue. The thing starts standing slowly getting taller and taller.
Bushtail comes to the statue and Eleia and Anselma. While Reolus searches for his fish.
The statue introduces itself with the name: 978-0-7869-6662-2 or 9 (nine) for short.
Anselma being playful with Reolus teasing him with the fish. While asking Bushtail about if he has seen that weird nine thing before. Reolus mentions that the statue following the group is a bit like Amon trying to sneak around XD.
Down the road near the river there is a building with some Slavic design on it at which Bushtail stops. Pushing open a big door inviting the group inside. A large warehouse space with boxes all around the walls and a massive circular area in the center. Different objects and books, some weaponry and armor, and maps heading out to the east. Recognizable Korelia Finland, Sweden, Norway. Bushtail moves to a table, and shows a device small as a fist on it.
It looks like a metalic ball sitting in 2 rings of brass slowly spinning around.
There seems to be a serial 932 listed on the device that seems to be the same make as Nine.
Bushtail found the device near the docks down the road. It seems to be some type of teleportation device that was powering down. We don't know what used it, but there seems to be some type of giant or primordial runes wrote on it. Drawing forth the armored one.
Bushtail mentions that they found a small other thing with it. A smallish bag, big enough for it to fit in. The bag has a certain design of the Necrocult. Somebody or something trough from somewhere else perhaps from another dimension into this world to cause some disruption. But it didn't seem to go to plan so they dropped the thing.
Anselma asks Nine how long Nine has been in their town. Nine explains a few years. Anselma asks Bushtail if he hasn't seen something similar to Nine or the device.
Bushtail says he didn't but he isn't an expert on this thing.
Anselma asks if Nine ever interacted with people. Nine looks concerned, answering sure I talked to people before, not many though. Eleia explains that Nine might be from another dimension. Wondering if the teleportation device can be used again. Nine explains that it has to figure it out…
Bushtail agrees that there might be a way to reactive the device. I'll look into it further and examine the language a bit and ask around… Chances are it might have been used before. Bushtail heard an old legend from the time of the dragons where a world was cut off from the rest of the universe where dragons fought a big evil. It could be related but Bushtail needs time to find about it…
Reolus being the smart ass. Asks what language Nine speaks. Nine speaks an Nordic language, but that isn't the common language the other speak. This clears up the mystery for Reolus, with Nine being an alien from another dimension that can speak some common languages. But seems to be not from the current dimension/area.
Bushtail comes back with some information about a place called Ebberon which was cut off from the Material Plane.
This clears up some bits of the origin of Nine. Bushtail telling the group to keep Nine with them.
Reolus agree's saying that they can use a non-pocket sized translator.
At the camp Nine uses suggestion and gets information from a skinwalker that he dropped the conjuring ball in the street for his master. The conjuring actually failed which resulted in the memory damage of Nine.
The purpose of the giant was to bring major destruction on the city. Which seems to have failed.
Never trust the Children of the Nazarene. Nine's creatures usually don't partake to take over the world or cause havoc. Which Nine explains and doesn't understand from it's point of view towards the skinwalker.
The skinwalker basically gives up on life.
The guards come and execute him on the spot. The family thanks the statue Nine who was casually flying around.
The group heads back to Bushtail where Nine explains what happened with the Skinwalker.
Some explorers came across Nine's type (warforged) before. Their memory can be pretty bad sometimes. Your creators have generally been lost to time. Bushtail takes a small piece of paper, and asks for Nine to kneel down.
Reolus suggests to use a hammer or an axe.
At which point Bushtails warns Reolus that he's getting an old fish if he isn't careful.
Bushtail puts his paw on Nine's head an restores his memory so that Nine knows where it's from thus allowing the memory of Eberon to return.
Bushtail mentions some people you know lie to the east in the ural mountains who will help you. 2 groups of indiginous people. Mansai and Khanty. They both have connections in the areas many undead have been seen. Both groups have no love for the undead and the Necrocult. They have different dresscodes, different social codes, and they are semi nomadic. Their language is unique to what you hear here in the city.
They usually have very old traditional style of clothing. Known for using leatherwork. They rarely come near the city. A human called Vladimir hangs out at Dyatlov Pass.
Bushtail hands Nine a ring. The ring looks like normal ring with a writing on the inside which seems to be Elvish. When Nine wears the ring, Reolus shouts out, now there's a happy married couple.
Bushtail ignores Reolus, explaining that the ring can be used once. If you need help for something serious I'll be receiving that message in 5 minutes. Then I or someone I designate can trace you by the residual magic. Bushtail mentions that the've seen on the head of the river near the Baltic Sea that there is a big fish there. A massive Adibass fish that they are trying to catch.
It can feed a village of 50 people one such fish. Bushtails suggests Reolus going to hunt for that fish.
Reolus suggest to fill in Nine with their purpose in the area, that is if Nine decides to stick around. After Nine agrees to stay around, Reolus explains why the group is there and where they came from.
The group decides to go fishing.
