Session 02: Poo, Poo Everywhere and not a Drop to... Report

General Summary

Grminas & Fleec ventured into the sewers. When they entered the main sewer, they found a metal door, with a dead beggar (stabbed to death) behind it. The room is small and another door beyond. Crossing into the room, it turned out to be a large rectangular room filled with treasure, equipment and old weapons/armour. Five skeletons of dead Roman Legionnaires attacked wounding the brave Grimnas. After they were killed by the plucky heroes, they were surprised to find the local thieves guild. The latter lied to them saying they were the assassins guild. They were shown the way out and now will be called upon for a favour. Coming up they met Ghilderic Ludger, a Dwarven Weaponsmith, and Wief Leudast, a Gnome Book Keeper. Fleec now waiting for a short sword from Childeric, and Grimnas got healing from a Halfling healer. After this the Fleec also approached a armourer to get a better suit of leather armour made.
When looking for a job Grimnas had to travel with Fleec to a lumber camp at the edge of the Bohemian Massif, and retrieve a sensitive letter to take to the Burgomaster (the work master of the camps saying odd happenings are occurring especially with them find mehirs in the forest). The latter had another attempt on his life and the assassin looked like a cultist who left behind a ring from the Gunthr family. He fled the scene and they heard that the butler, Sigihold, appears dodgy. Both adventurers went to look at the house, and a look round the area. They hear that the Gunthrs rosaries were stolen and head to the local cathedral to follow up on any clues. They find a priest called Father Tossil and two Frankish soldiers examining a recently disturbed grave with the body of a tanner removed. No sign of the body and always happens about 3 in the morning at irregular dates. They find the Gunthrs seem to be good Christians and that their servant Sigihold is described as odd. They also decide to camp out and spy on the graveyard on a full moon to see if any bodies go missing. Eventually they decide to go back to the house and get a room. It ended with them beginning to meet Hindi Gunthr.
