Viola Castro is a Dark Elf inquisitor belonging to the Ulmist order. She has a bout 45 years experience fighting for them and can be quite intimidating. She is regularly without her trusty silver longsword and steel breastplate. Her hatred of undead has came from a time in her early years when her settlement in the Underdark was run over by hordes of skeletons commanded by a vampire. This vampire was eventually tracked down by Castro, and killed with the help of a squad of Ulmist Inquisitors. Unfortunately the rest of the squad was killed in the process of the fight, including her mentor who had saved her after the settlement incident. She is currently scouring central & eastern Europe hunting down vampires in the service of both the Children of the Nazarene & the Necrocult.

Suggested Environments


Innate Spellcasting. The inquisitor casts one of the following spells, requiring no components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 15).

At will: Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts, Dispel Magic, Sending.

1/day: Dimension Door, Fly, Greater Invisibility.

Metabolic Control. At the start of each of it's turns, the inquisitor regains 10 hit points and can end one condition on itself, provided the inquisitor has 1 hit point.   Fey Ancestry. The inquisitor has advantage against spells and magical effects that charm it, and immunity to sleep inducing spells & magical effects.


Multiattack. The inquisitor attacks twice with it's silver longsword. After it hits or misses , with an attack, the inquisitor can teleport up to 30 ft to an unoccupied space it can see.   Silver Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack +7 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit 8 1d8+4 slashing damage, or 9 1d10+4 slashing damage if used with two hands, plus 18 4d6 force damage.   Bonus Action: Blink Step. The inquisitor teleports up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
